HeightThe proposed hotel will have 2 levels of partial subterranean/podium deck parking with 4 levels of hotel space above the parking garage. In the redesign process we concentrated on reducing the height as much as possible without jeopardizing the number of guestrooms. On the corner of Main St and First Street, the height is approximately 43 feet, which is considered to be a conforming building. The height at this corner is about 5 feet below the telephone pole.

The gray ‘blanket’ illustrates how much of the proposed building is over the 43’’ height limit; anything popping out of the grey blanket is over the limit and everything under the grey blanket is below the 43’’ limit.
