Pet Policies
- Pets must be pre-registered before arrival. Please call 831-285-1100 to register pet, or email info@labahiahotel.com with your confirmation number, and number of pets and weight.
- Pets (Dogs and Cats) are permitted with a $175.00 per pet, per stay fee. Maximum of two (2) pets per room.
- Visiting pets must be current on all shots and in good health. We reserve the right to request any pet medical documentation.
- When checking in, your pet(s) must be declared, and you must sign a copy of our pet policy as acknowledgement and agreement to all terms and conditions. A fee $450 will be charged for failure to declare.
- We welcome well-mannered Pets. Dogs weighing over 90 pounds may be allowed at our discretion and require approval at the time of booking. Allowed pets are restricted to Dogs and Cats.
- Pets must wear a name tag with owner contact information.
- Pet owners are fully responsible for their pet’s behavior and for quickly attending barking, threatening or disturbing behavior and pet waste. Pet waste must be deposited in exterior trash receptacles.
- Pets cannot continue to bark at or disturb other guests or employees, and we reserve the right to require immediate removal of any pet that displays dangerous and unacceptable behavior, including but not limited to biting, excessive barking or other noise, evidence of disease, or urination/defecation in public areas.
- Pets may not be left unattended in guest rooms, in public areas, or on hotel decks.
- When outside of guest rooms, pets must be on leash at all times with their dated registration tag attached to the leash.
- Registered guests with service animals do not follow the same rules and regulations, and the Hotel may not charge those guests a pet fee. An emotional support animal, however, is not considered a service animal and is not protected under the American Disability Act as an animal serving guests with disabilities. Emotional support animals therefore fall under the hotel’s pet policy and all its rules and regulations.
- At La Bahia Hotel & Spa: a pet welcome letter, treats at the front desk, a cozy pet bed, a water/food bowl, bottled water and pet waste bags for your guest room or suite. Amenities are offered complimentary for use during your stay.
- Pets cannot be left unattended in the guest rooms at any time and rooms cannot be serviced while pets are in the room. Please ensure to take your pets with you during our housekeeping hours should you wish to have your room serviced.
- Barking and noise that is disruptive to other guests is not allowed. The hotel will contact the pet’s owner via the cell phone number provided at check-in upon the first complaint about their pet. Upon receipt of two noise or disruptive behavior complaints, the guest may be required to make alternative arrangements for their pet.
- Pets must be accompanied and on a leash at all times in the hotels’ public areas and are not allowed on the furniture.
- Dogs are welcome on the outside patio at Low Tide, but not in any indoor area of the restaurants, spa facilities, fitness center or pool area.
- We understand that “accidents” happen, but additional fees may apply if excessive room cleaning is necessary after departure.
